Sallah: Oyo North Senatorial Aspirant, Prof Adeolu Akande felicitates with Muslims.
The former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC), Prof. Adeolu Akande has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Eid El Kabir festival.
Akande, in a congratulatory message, admonished Nigerians to reflect on the teachings of the festival, which are faithfulness, perseverance, love, and dedication to God, among others.
He appealed to all Muslim faithfuls to use this festive occasion to pray for the peace and stability of the country.
“I urge all Muslims to continue to live in peace with people of other religions and shun all acts that are capable of undermining the oneness of Nigeria. It is only in an atmosphere of peace and love that we can progress as a people”, he stressed.
While congratulating the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on this year Eid El Adha, the Oyo APC chieftain called on all leaders at various levels of governance to complement the President’s effort in the provision of amenities that will reduce poverty, and lead to economic growth and employment generation.
His words: “I enjoin all leaders at various levels of governance to assist the President. We all have a sacred responsibility to keep to our promise to the people. We can not afford to let them down”.
