The Balogun of the Yoruba Community in France, Chief Babatunde Ajibola Suraj, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday and first anniversary on the revered throne.
In a goodwill message to the monarch, Chief Suraj described the twin celebrations as a significant milestone in the life of a man whose name and contributions have remained deeply connected with the history, development and identity of Ibadanland.
The Arole Oyabisehin extended warm felicitations to the Olubadan, offering prayers for continued good health, wisdom, strength and divine grace as the monarch continues to occupy the historic throne.
Chief Ajibola Babatunde Suraj Zurrymania of France,Arole Oyabisehin oke sapati Ibadan, who also doubled as Balogun, Yoruba community in France, also acknowledged the significance of Oba Ladoja’s emergence as Olubadan, describing the monarch’s first year on the throne as an important chapter in the continuing history of Ibadan.
According to him, the Olubadan’s wealth of experience in public service, business and community affairs remains a valuable asset to the ancient city and its people.
He prayed that the reign of Oba Ladoja would continue to bring peace, unity, progress and greater development to Ibadanland, while wishing the monarch many more years of fruitful service to his people.
The Yoruba community in France, he said, joins the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State and well-wishers across the world in celebrating the monarch on the auspicious occasion.
Chief Suraj further wished the Olubadan a joyous 82nd birthday and a memorable first coronation anniversary, praying that Kabiyesi’s reign would continue to be marked by wisdom, peace, dignity and enduring accomplishments
