Ekiti Parapo UK Distributes Free Notebooks to Support Pupils in Ekiti State

Ekiti Parapo UK, led by President Comrade Olamide Idowu, has launched a significant educational outreach to support public school pupils across Ekiti State. This initiative, which began in Ido-Osi and Ikole Local Government Areas, is focused on improving access to learning materials and encouraging school retention.
In the first phase of the programme, hundreds of free notebooks were distributed to students in both primary and secondary schools, including:
St. Andrew’s Anglican Primary School, Usi Ekiti
Babalola Borisade High School, Usi Ekiti
Ekiti Parapo College, Ido Ekiti.
St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Oke Ayedun Ekiti
Methodist Primary School, Ikole Ekiti
Additionally, over 25 pupils at St. Andrew’s Anglican Primary School received brand-new school uniforms, personally funded by Comrade Idowu. This generous gesture was warmly welcomed by both students and staff.
Speaking at the event, Comrade Idowu reaffirmed Ekiti Parapo UK’s dedication to grassroots development and educational empowerment. He emphasized that this is only the beginning of a long-term commitment to reach more schools across Ekiti State. “No child should be left behind,” he said. “Education is the greatest legacy we can offer the next generation.”
Ekiti Parapo UK continues to be a leading example of diaspora-led community impact. Through ongoing initiatives like this, the organisation is working to close educational gaps and invest in the future of Ekiti’s children
