Osun 2026 Governorship Election: Ayedaade Breaks the Jinx for Adeleke and Accord

Our team of reporters who covered the election observed intensive, round-the-clock campaign activities from *Orile Owu to Ode Omu and Gbongan*, the political headquarters of Ayedaade LGA What stood out was the unity among political leaders in each town. Despite political differences in the past, party leaders worked in unison, without acrimony, to mobilize support for Governor Adeleke.
*Gbongan: The Engine Room*
In Gbongan, our reporters monitored activities across 5 key wards. The level of grassroots mobilization was remarkable, from ward to ward and polling unit to polling unit.
In Ward 1, notable figures, including Hon. Mayowa Adebooye, Hon Adebisi Moses Akinremi, and Prof. Amos Popoola* was visible among both politicians and the electorate.

The impact was also felt in Ode Omu. Hon. Folorunso Ogundare, member Osun State House of Assembly representing Ayedaade State Constituency,
worked closely with Hon. Oluremi Anthony Olawuni and Hon. Ambali Oladosu to ensure massive turnout and votes for Governor Adeleke.
