The Oyo State Radio and Television Workers Union (RATAWU) honored him with the prestigious Award of Excellence during a vibrant ceremony held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on December 18, 2024.
The event, which brought together prominent figures from the broadcasting world, cultural enthusiasts, and community leaders, was a testament to Chief Babatunde’s impact on the media landscape and society at large.
Chief Babatunde, the Balogun of the Yoruba community in France, is renowned for his dedication to preserving and promoting Yoruba culture on the global stage. His efforts in supporting the the less privileged in the society by making humanity come first in anything he is doing were highlighted as one of his many achievements.
